We are thrilled to share this year’s exam results with you.

High Weald Academy

High Weald Academy received its best ever GCSE results, with almost 60% of students achieving five or more A*- C GCSE grades, including English and mathematics. Results were particularly strong in the core subjects of English, mathematics and science, with 67%, 74% and 75% receiving A*-C grades respectively.

There was a 100% pass rate for all A Level subjects. English Language and Literature had their 11th year in a row with 100% pass rate. Maths A Level and AS results were also strong with some really good grades.

Vocational BTEC results improved significantly this year, with 88% gaining Merit, Distinction or Distinction* (equivalent to B, A and A* respectively).

The Hayesbrook School

The Hayesbrook School also posted its best ever GCSE results with 60% of students reaching the national 5 A*- C GCSE grades including English and Mathematics with their first entry. Overall, there were 250 A* and A GCSE grades and BTEC Distinctions, a new record and more than double the 2014 success rate. In total there were 43 A*, 140 A and 322 B grades at GCSE. There were also 65 BTEC Distinction* and Distinction grades which is now subject to an external examination at Level 2.

The Sixth Formers also celebrated record results, with a 100% pass rate at A Level – exceeding national and Kent averages. There were also improved BTEC vocational results and a 100% pass rate in the Computing Cambridge Technical programme. Every student left the Sixth Form with 2, 3 or 4 A Levels, or their vocational equivalents.

27 students recorded high BTEC Distinction grades with 24 of those students achieving at least one prestigious Distinction* grade in Sport, Business or Computing.

Ebbsfleet Academy

Students, parents and teachers at The Ebbsfleet Academy are also celebrating its best set of GCSE results ever – almost doubling the success rate of its predecessor school.

With at least 53% of students gaining the coveted five A* – C grades including English and mathematics, the results show a rapid improvement from 28% in 2013 and 38% in 2014.
