Eleven netball students from High Weald Academy went to France at Easter to compete in the International Junior Netball Tournament. While they were there, the students got the chance to take part in a coaching clinic and a masterclass with England’s netball team, with just enough time to squeeze in a trip to Disneyland Paris before they returned home.

As the netball team hit the courts, 24 pupils from across the High Weald Academy had a geography lesson with a difference… in Iceland! The students visited glaciers, mountainous areas and had the opportunity to swim outside in the hot springs.

28 Hayesbrook students also went skiing in St Anton, Austria. After weeks of practicing on the dry ski slopes in Chatham, the pupils took to the slopes for five days while staying in a hotel, which had its own bowling alleys, gym and sauna!
