The Hayesbrook School in Tonbridge today celebrates the success of its students with over 50% achieving 5 A*- C GCSE grades including English and Mathematics. The students collectively secured 100 GCSE A* and A grades or BTEC Distinction and Distinction* awards.

In the traditional academic subjects of English and Mathematics over 60% of students secured an A*- C grade. Top performing students achieved an outstanding A*- C pass rate of 96% in Chemistry and 81% in Biology.

Principal David Day commented: “I congratulate the students on their achievements, many of whom have exceeded their targets. Against a backdrop of national fluctuation we are pleased that Hayesbrook students have posted over 100 GCSE A grades or BTEC distinctions. This shows the high level of individual achievements from our students and paves the way for successful Sixth Form study.
