Brothers Dan and Ben Tullet are a cycling force to be reckoned with. Having both raced at the young age of three, they have continued their passion for cycling through to their teenage years.

Both Dan and Ben compete in national and international races, winning their fair share each. Dan, who is in year 11, last year took part in a week long stage race in Holland, European Junior Cycling Tour Assen and last year won the Belgian cyclocross not once, but twice! Ben has had his fair share of success too, racing in tours across Europe, winning 25 races and taking part in one notable race in which he ran into some bike trouble, had to run one kilometre to the nearest pit-stop, and still managed to come overall fifth despite the detour!

Dan who is in his second year of the Olympic development programme, being accepted two years earlier than usual applicants, hopes to take place in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Ben says: “The school really supports us, ensuring that we are fully caught up on work if we ever have to take time off to race”. The Trust are proud to have two such dedicated sportsmen at Hayesbrook.
