Academy: The High Weald Academy, Cranbrook
Salary: £10.08 per hour
Our vision is simple – to ensure that all of our students achieve beyond our expectations and flourish as confident learners with the highest aspirations, ready for the university or careers of their choice and also ready for the world in which they will work and live.
The High Weald Academy is currently looking to expand its team of invigilators and is looking for efficient, flexible and well organised people, who would like to contribute to the successes of our young people. The role involves overseeing and supervising examinations and ensuring that the guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examinations, papers and procedures are followed. The successful candidates will be required to undertake reading and scribing duties for students who require assistance, and after training, may be asked to act as a sole invigilator for candidates requiring extra time or other access arrangements. A number of examinations are now undertaken via online access therefore, candidates with secure IT skills would be at an advantage.
Invigilators are currently paid on a casual contract at a rate of £10.08 per hour. The hours are varied over the exam season and will cover the main period in May/June, and internal examinations throughout the year. Initial and ongoing training will be given to successful candidates.
